Let's revitalize domestic timber! - An introduction to the technology that Nikko takes pride in.

It achieves resistance to decay, discoloration, termite prevention, and prevention of splinters and thorns! Nikko introduces a new technology that the wood industry should aim for.

Nikko Corporation introduces a "one-of-a-kind" reinforced wood that does not rot, does not discolor, prevents termite damage, and protects against splinters and rough edges, as a new technology that the domestic timber industry should aim for. The inorganic wood modification "Kigokoro" combines inorganic colloidal glass and pigments, penetrating into the wood (70 kg per cubic meter). It has safety standards that meet toy safety regulations and expresses the natural beauty of wood's annual rings. It does not stop the so-called "breathing function," prevents water intrusion, and provides anti-corrosion and anti-termite effects. "Wood regeneration, revitalizing wood" involves penetrating natural cleaning agents into old, damaged, and dirty wood to lift and wash out internal impurities without damaging the wood fibers. Pigment-containing coatings prevent fading and discoloration in their permeable, painted, and dyed forms. Additionally, a topcoat enhances slip resistance, contamination prevention, weather resistance, and provides effective protection against mold, algae, splinters, and rough edges. Liquid glass modified wood - Mokugokoro

Mokugokoro is a modification treatment technology that uses liquid glass that hardens at room temperature to composite wood with glass.

Currently, about 40% of Japan's forests consist of artificial forests planted after the war, primarily made up of coniferous trees such as cedar and cypress. While coniferous trees grow quickly and are easy to process, they have drawbacks, such as lower hardness compared to broadleaf trees, making them more susceptible to termites and decay fungi. By using "Mokugokoro," a liquid glass that penetrates the wood, the glass components adhere to and solidify within the wood, allowing coniferous trees to achieve hardness comparable to that of broadleaf trees. At the same time, its excellent weather resistance prevents water intrusion, significantly enhancing its anti-decay and anti-termite properties. Additionally, because liquid glass is inorganic, it does not impose a burden on the environment and is harmless to the human body. Mokugokoro is a technology that is environmentally friendly and excels in safety and sustainability.

The era has caught up - Part 1: A time of safety and security.

Durability 8 times! A coating agent that prevents bending, warping, and cracking, provides breathing function, moisture adjustment, and anti-corrosion.

1st Session: Wood Modification and Aesthetic Coating Due to the limited character count for this announcement, we will be presenting our products in seven installments (once a month) going forward. Our company is advancing the creation of living spaces from a medical perspective. A well-known construction company owner once said, "The critical point for wood is drying." Isn't the critical point for wood to remain natural? The best method is one that allows for natural drying without causing condensation. The use of wood that retains natural fragrance, ions, moisture, and breathing function, and does not generate condensation, will not be eaten by termites, rot, or grow mold and moss; this is how wood should be used in your home. ========== 100% Inorganic Liquid Coating Material 'Teriocote' [Features] - Long-term durability - Adhesion - Stain resistance - High hardness film - Mold and fungus suppression - Ecology - Safety *For more details, please contact us.

Glass composite modification impregnation agent - fireproof - termite-resistant - dimensional stability 'Corrosion-resistant wood'

By pressurizing and injecting into the wood, we create high-dimensional modified wood. The result is fire-resistant, dimensionally stable, rot-resistant, insect and termite-proof, and highly weather-resistant wood.

Product Information on Glass Composite Modification and Impregnation Agent for Fire-Resistant Wood Quartz glass melts in nature at a temperature of 2000°C, hardening and becoming glass as it cools. In 1970, the invention of the sol-gel method led to the development of a technology that allows silica gel to be melted and hardened as glass at temperatures below 1000°C. This was a significant technological innovation for humanity in terms of energy conservation. However, this technology still required high temperatures of at least 600°C. By the end of the 20th century, humanity discovered a method to stabilize and harden liquid quartz glass at the temperatures we live in, making glass production possible in the room temperature range.
